Martin Short Breaks His Silence After Daughter Katherine’s Death — What We Know

Brothers Oliver and Henry

Oliver (born April 29, 1986) studied film and television at Notre Dame and has held behind-the-scenes roles at Warner Bros., Fox Sports, the MLB Network and NBC Sports. Henry (born Aug. 4, 1989) also attended Notre Dame, earned a finance degree in 2012, worked in banking and now serves as a veterinary assistant in Malibu.

Martin’s remarks

In a May interview Martin called the situation a "nightmare" for the family and discussed how Katherine had long struggled with extreme mental health issues, including borderline personality disorder, comparing the reality of mental illness to other diseases and noting the family’s need for privacy as they grieve.
