At the L.A. premiere of his new sketch show Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappiness, David said of UFC Freedom 250: "It was embarrassing. I was embarrassed to be an American." He has also said he dislikes violence, adding, "I don't like UFC because I don't like violence. I don't like boxing. I don't like any violence — I can't handle it."
