Tea at Windsor

On Sept. 25 she shared a montage of a tea party at Windsor Castle for participants and their families, calling each summit a personal story of resilience. Kate smiled in a floor‑length purple dress as guests were served tea and cakes. Attendees included 11‑year‑old Ted Haslam and his family — to whose JustGiving she donated £1,000–£2,000 — plus Sean McCormick, Albie‑Junior and Trish Patterson, who also completed the challenge and raised funds for Mind Over Mountains.

Support and next steps

The palace says Kate walked the routes supported by Mountain Rescue and was met afterwards by Prince William, their three children and her parents and brother. She later made a surprise visit to the Royal Marsden on Sept. 11 to see how the money raised is being used and to thank the teams who cared for her.
